Research of Action/Thriller.

The Genre:
The genre of Action/Thriller is a strong one which is met in many films in the recent eye of the cinema but can also be seen separately. Action can be shown as a war film, with guns or the end of the world, whilst Thriller could be something to make people feel chills whilst watching the chosen film what could also mean it would be dark and not suitable for some people. Action/Thriller together thou is something very different, with the suspense of action films and the added darkness and chills of a thriller it can make masterpieces of films like The Dark Knight (Batman) and be good for superhero or fighting films for teenagers or above, so most of the time it may not be the most suitable thing for a child to be watching even thou it is a superhero film.

Action Films:

Here I have 2 examples of Action films, RED and Inception. Both are different in the way they are represented but both are good Action films. This is showing how it can be so much different even thou it is the same genre. With RED being a gun and fighting movie whilst Inception is a dream inside a different mans head showing something what he wants to do but may also be hard to understand. One easy viewing and one hard viewing.

Thriller Films:

Thriller films, loved by many can be represented in many different ways to get the chills of the viewer. Like Phone Booth which is a thriller about a man in a phone booth all the way through the film but even thou movement and where the filming is always in the same place throughout the film, we as the viewer get hooked and chills about the shots and speech. Whilst my other choice of Thriller (Black Swan) is in a totally different environment and story behind it to get the chills, it is based in various places but around a Swan Lake dance company. This shows how Thrillers can always be different to get the effect needed within the film to make it a thriller can always be challenged to how they put it across and get the chills out of the people.

Action/Thriller Films:

Now to the genre we have chosen for our opening sequence. Action/Thriller the combined genre of the 2 above mentioned. Here we have 2 examples of a superhero and survivor movie, both with a bit of darkness towards it and fun of watching an action movie. This is favorable watching for the older teenage audience as it gives something fresh and many different opportunities into making the film.

Feedback of ENCRYPTION

From our feedback we decided to take all as constructive criticism in which we all took it as advice in which we would use to improve our overall idea and story for the film itself before the title sequence was made. Also from the feedback in which Miss Whittaker and Mrs Raji gave us we used for the editing of the title sequence in making it better.
